Wild Fuchsias in the Irish Countryside

Fuchsias are one of my favourite flowers growing wild here in the Irish countryside. That’s why I’ve featured it as the August image in my 2020 Magical Irish Wildflowers Collectors Calendar.

Each Summer, these brilliant red blossoms accent roadsides and hedgerows from July to October. They’re not native to Ireland — they came from South America and escaped into the Irish countryside.
