Hanging Flowers over County Clare’s Owenslieve River.

Lovely hanging flower baskets adorn a bridge over County Clare’s Owenslieve River in Lissycasey Village.

This beautiful little river flows through the parish of Clondegad from an elevation of 536 feet down to the village of Ballynacally where it joins the Fergus Estuary, emptying into the Shannon River and ultimately the Atlantic Ocean.

The Lissycasey Cascades and Ecology Park are located just up from this spot.
